Customer Identification Details: as a client farmer registering for our services, we collect data relating to your identity, including your name, phone number, email address, physical location, and billing address. We use this information to offer you advisory support, facilitate transactions (including billing you for using our or third-party services or products offered through our platform), and respond to your queries or concerns. 
  1. Farm Identification Details: We collect data relating to farm details of our client farmers', including the GPS coordinates, acreage, location details, land topology, soil type, farm workers, irrigation data, power connection data, and farm production data. We collect this information from client farmers, third-party satellite imagery providers, and pre-site surveys. We use this information to calibrate IoT devices and provide weather data and early warning systems to client farmers.
  1. Crop and Farm Activity Data: We collect data regarding the activities carried out by our client farmers, including the types of crops grown, inputs used (including agrochemicals and fertilizers), harvests and revenue generated, and other farming activities carried out. We collect this data from our client farmers, farm workers, third-party satellite imagery providers, on-site visits, and FarmCloud software service. We use this information to provide crop advisory to client farmers, link client farmers to suitable markets for their produce, and connect client farmers to third parties such as financial support institutions and suppliers of input products. 
  1. Environmental and Soil Data: Through our FarmShield IoT Devices, we collect data on the environment and soil of our client farmers' farms, including soil and air temperature/ humidity, CO2 levels, light intensity, water irrigation amounts, NPK/EC/pH/Ammonia levels, and cellular connectivity. We use this information to advise our client farmers on how to optimise their activities, including regarding water consumption (e.g., irrigation) and application of inputs (e.g., fertilizers).

In addition to the specific basis for processing your information outlined above, we may process your personal information based on any of the lawful basis provided under the Data Protection Act: 

  1. The performance of a product/ service agreement with you;
  2. Synnefa's legitimate business interests;
